“I tell you the truth, whatever you do for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40 The Yakima Union Gospel Mission (YUGM)/ Madison House Youth Center, located in the heart of the gang and drug district in Yakima, is available, at no cost, to all youth after school and all day during the summer. Many of the children at Madison House, who range from toddler to high school, are at risk and socially or economically disadvantaged. These children come from broken homes and know the sting of drug/alcohol abuse, domestic violence and poverty. The Madison House is a safe, loved filled home where hope and healthy relationship begins. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
