PRAYER
“God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the burdened and battered free, to announce,
‘This is God’s year to act!’”  Luke 4:18-19

First Presbyterian Church is a Church of Prayer and we consider it an honor to pray with you and others. On Sunday mornings, we have Prayer Ministers (with yellow nametags) who are honored to pray with folks following each service; they continue to lift prayers of intercession during the services.  We also have a Prayer Chain who can pray for you during a time of crisis - please call the church at 248-7940 get on the Prayer Chain.  Each week, we also distribute a Prayer Letter (via mail and email) to more than 300 who pray for requests submitted on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. YOU - Stand In The Gap
For Our Church
- Sundays @ 8:30

Are you interested in guarding the health of our church?  Every Sunday people are gathering in the Prayer Room at 8:30 for 45 minutes to intercede through prayer for our body.  All are welcome to come, any Sunday or every Sunday.  The Lord calls us to bring to him the desires of our heart; let’s give Him our church and watch what happens.

“After all no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-for we are members of his body.” Eph. 5:29

“I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap, on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none”.  Ez.22:30
